Kerstin Evert is a dance researcher who founded the choreographic center K3 in 2006 and has been the director of K3 –Zentrum für Choreographie | Tanzplan Hamburg since then. She works as a lecturer at universities in Berlin, Bern, Gieβen, Hamburg, Frankfurt/Main and Salzburg and was founder and part of the PhD programmes Assemblies and Participation and Performing Citizenship. Kerstin Evert is member of several juries and advisory boards and member of the board of the European Dancehouse Network.

Maike Gunsilius is a cultural scientist, dramaturg and theatre maker who held a PhD scholarship in the postgraduate programme Performing Citizenship. From 2019 to 2020 Gunsilius worked as a research associate at the research project Participatory Art Based Research. Since 2020 she is professor for Theatre for Young Audiences at the University of Hildesheim.

Sebastian Matthias is a choreographer and dance researcher, working internationally with freelance production houses and established institutions. He studied dance at Juilliard School in New York and dance studies at Freie Universität Berlin. Within the frame of the postgraduate programme Assemblies and Participation he pursued his PhD that was published in 2018 under the title ”Gefühlter Groove – Kollektivität zwischen Dancefloor und Bühne” with transcript Verlag. Since 2019 Matthias works as a research associate at the research project Participatory Art Based Research. Due to funding through Doppelpass of the German Federal Cultural Foundation he is cooperating closely with Bürgerbühne/Staatschauspiel Dresden and Theater Basel until 2021. www.sebastianmatthias.com

Sibylle Peters is a researcher, performance artist and theatre director based in Hamburg. She is artistic director of FUNDUS THEATER / Theatre of Research and co-founder of the PhD programmes Assemblies & Participation and Performing Citizenship. She was head of the Heterotopia Graduate Programme at Folkwang University of the Arts. Special expertise: improbable assemblies, participatory art-based research, transgenerational encounters.  Recent publication: Searching for Heterotopia. Kathrin Wildner holds a professorship for cultural theory and practice at HafenCity University Hamburg. As an urban anthropologist she has done ethnographic fieldwork in New York City, Mexico City, Istanbul, Bogotá and new urban peripheries. As an urban researcher, she teaches, publishes and participates in many transdisciplinary projects and international exhibitions. She is co-founder of the postgraduate programme Performing Citizenship and of the MetroZones – Zentrum für urbane Angelegenheiten. www.kwildner.net
